I thought about changing the rule on casters, changing 1/3 casters into half casters and half casters getting cantrips for the sake of multiclassing. Is that too imbalanced? Is there something I'm not aware of?

\$\begingroup\$ To make sure you are conveing your idea clearly, you might want to describe your proposed change in a bit more detail. What do you mean by 1/3 and 1/2 level casters? What exactly do you mean by "for the sake of multiclassing"? Also, what are you trying to acomplish with this? What should it be balanced against? \$\endgroup\$ – Someone_Evil Oct 16 at 13:27

\$\begingroup\$ Hello. This site has a strict rule that we do not guess what game you're playing. Please add game and edition tag, and describe more fully what you are trying to achieve, and why. \$\endgroup\$ – Mołot Oct 16 at 13:31

\$\begingroup\$ As an example of a “game and edition tag,” we mean like dnd-5e for the latest, “fifth” edition of Dungeons & Dragons, or dnd-3.5e for the old, “3.5e revised edition,” or gurps-4e for the fourth edition of the Generic Universal Roleplaying System. \$\endgroup\$ – KRyan Oct 16 at 13:35
