Demon: The Fallen is the penultimate game set in White Wolf's Old World of Darkness. Players take up the roles of demons, angels who rebelled against God when they uplifted humanity against His will. After their defeat they were imprisoned in the Abyss, where they were turned into demons by the torment of their exile. Some of them escaped to Earth after millenia of imprisonment and possessed humans, and are now trying to find a purpose on Earth.
