It was originally chosen as the winning entry (out of over 11,000) in Wizards of the Coast's Fantasy Setting Search in 2002, and was officially published in the *Eberron Campaign Setting* book in June 2004. Campaigns in Eberron are set mainly on the continent of Khorvaire in the period after a vast destructive war, combining fantasy elements with a pulp/dark tone.
