A PC in our game used *Drunken Monkey* on an enemy. It hit and did the following:

>Hit: 1d8 + Dexterity modifier damage, and you slide the target 1 square. The target then makes a melee basic attack as a free action against one enemy of your choice. The target gains a bonus to the attack roll equal to your Wisdom modifier.

The damage is enough to reduce the enemy's health below 0.

The enemy has a power that enables the following:

>The orc may take a standard action as a free action before death.

It used this to attack the PC who killed it.

Does the enemy still make a melee basic attack against another enemy of the PC's choice as per the description of Drunken Monkey?

As a bonus, does the enemy's action before death occur before or after the slide?
