Suppose a fighter chooses the [Superior Technique][1] fighting style option at 2nd level, allowing them to learn a maneuver and gain a superiority die (*Tasha's Cauldron of Everything*, p. 41):

> You learn one maneuver of your choice from among those available to
> the Battle Master archetype. [...]
>
> You gain one superiority die, which is a d6 (this die is added to any
> superiority dice you have from another source). This die is used to
> fuel your maneuvers. [...]

When the fighter reaches level 3, they choose [Battle Master][2] as their Martial Archetype, and gain the [Combat Superiority][3] subclass feature (PHB, p. 73):

> When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you learn maneuvers that
> are fueled by special dice called superiority dice.
>
> [...]
>
> ***Superiority Dice.*** You have four superiority dice, which are d8s. A superiority die is expended when you use it. You regain all of your
> expended superiority dice when you finish a short or long rest.

**Can the superiority die gained from the Superior Technique fighting style be used to perform the maneuvers learned through the Combat Superiority feature?**
