The Plane Shift PDFs include a disclaimer stating that they were not playtested before release and are not considered "official" D&D content by Wizards of the Coast.

The Plane Shift series consists of the following PDFs:

Wizards of the Coast later published several official D&D sourcebooks set in various M:tG planes, including the Guildmasters' Guide to Ravnica (2018), Mythic Odysseys of Theros (2020), and Strixhaven: A Curriculum of Chaos (2021).

In December 2020, James Wyatt (the primary author of the Plane Shift series) announced that he was not planning to write more Plane Shift PDFs:

as I move back toward working on more [D&D] books, I’m not currently planning on doing more [M:tG] Plane Shift PDFs. That’s a lot more subject to change (since it depends on my time and energy, not on a licensed publishing deal). But time and energy are scarce!

Since Wyatt was the primary author of the Plane Shift series, this effectively indicated that the series had been discontinued.
