Should a forest ranger's travel pace in Chult's jungle be faster?
@v2blast, than you for the related question. It doesn't give link to it's claim but seems to say Jeremy Crawford considers Jungle a type of forest.

You're confusion is understandable @wakinadivellir. So if the normal group gets 1.5 hex on average for fast pace would you give them 3 hex guaranteed or 2 hex + 50% chance at 3rd hex?

Thank you for letting me know it seems the general answer is that "jungle" is a type of forest.

@Thomas Markov, good point, last paragraph deleted since that was more on the discussion side of things.

I also can't find ToA explicitly mentioning that "jungle" travel is slowed due to difficult terrain, although it seems this could be the case by the math (at least by 2 of the 3 counts exactly). I'm assuming this is generally left as implicit since explicit would likely cause many DMs to run every random jungle encounter on fully difficult terrain maps.

Does the Simic Hybrid's Manta Glide let them glide after a high jump to double their movement and avoid opportunity attacks?
@GuillaumeF. Great catch on movement rounding, I would have missed it. I believe you get the extra movement but not while avoiding opportunity attacks, which would indeed be broken imho if that were the case. This is based on "you can move" which implies it is a type of movement you have control over using or not using and you use movement every jump.

I agree most certainly that RAI this is not the case. I however feel ",and" in a run on sentence can be replaced by "." which makes RAW much more clear.
