BY DAY: 20+ years of customer-facing experience as a Sales Engineer; Progress OpenEdge Database Design, Administration, and Performance Optimization; Application Development, LINUX and UNIX Shell Scripting and System Administration; and Solutions Consultant, Conference Guest Speaker, and Instructor.

BY NIGHT: I'm not saying that I'm Superman, but 1) You'll never see me and Superman in the same place at the same time; 2) I own and operate several articles of clothing with the Superman logo on them, including, but not limited to: boxer briefs, an Alex & Ani bracelet (which was a gift from my awesome girlfriend because "my hero" swoon), and a full-size costume that totally makes it look like I have a six-pack; and 3) kryptonite makes me die. Lois, don't type that last bit out loud.

FOR FUN: On weekends I like to sit and think about days gone by, because back in my day we we had nine planets and two genders and I had time to play Skyrim and Diablo 3 and clowns, actual clowns, were walking around waving knives and people basically didn't do anything about that and now you can't swing a dead cat without hitting yet another goddamn Spider-Man reboot and what good amid these, O me, O life? When I'm not quoting myself, I enjoy D&D, Magic: The Gathering, skydiving, and SCUBA diving, but almost never at the same time.
