But comparing spending two resources to only one doesn't make much sense from an analysis standpoint. Of course it will be better. Bottom line: A spell that removes resistance is within one point of damage in its affect as a spell that gives the target vulnerability. | |

After you've inflicted vulnerability, a target that had resistance will still be taking half the damage they would do if they didn't have resistance - so you still have exactly the same incentive to remove that resistance somehow. | |
