Aug 24, 2017 at 21:33 comment added YogoZuno I understand the stacking, but...the tumor is not actually a familiar., despite the name. It's something else entirely that is statted as a familiar. In much the same way as a character can be built with both an eidolon and familiar, but in PFS play, could not have both active in combat.
Aug 24, 2017 at 13:07 comment added BRW @YogoZuno the problem with that theory is that you can never have more than one familiar, which is why just about everything that gives you a familiar says it stacks with anything else that gives you a familiar. Bit strange that this doesn't explicitly have that line, but the construct familiar from Tinkerer does have that line, so it would stack anyway.
Aug 24, 2017 at 6:56 comment added YogoZuno Actually, although I don't have enough detail for a full answer, I did look at the Tumor Familiar, and I don't believe it works, since it creates a NEW familiar, distinct from any other, rather than modifying an existing familiar.
