I found an example at the bottom of page 59, across from the Volley description. The DM declares something (12 damage), the player challenges that as 'a danger', and the DM reneges and says the ogre is mid-swing instead. I have the feeling there are more explicit examples, but I don't have time to scour the rest of the book just now. | |
