I guess that's the GM's decision, kinda like exactly where the focus of the spell Secret Chest ends up after the spell says its irrevocably gone forever. | |

Getting line of effect via the feat Reach Spell may be a thing, but getting line of sight remains a serious hurdle that may warrant its own question. I was really hoping I thought of something that would A) be original, B) be awesome (despite exceptionally impractical) and C) could absolutely come up as a GM's response to parties abusing rope tricks. "Well yeah, you can get 8 hours of free rest, but once you get a reputation for that people will start preparing for it. Arcane lock has a questionable effect, but this one will definitely kill you." | |
