Mar 13, 2019 at 17:16 comment added TigerDM It’s not an issue, but I would like suggestions, tips, and hints at pathfinder rules/guides that might make them more appealing.

Mar 13, 2019 at 0:19 comment added Dale M I need to ask the obvious question: "Why do you want them to?" Without you elaborating on this in the question I feel we are in xy problem territory. That is, why is "my players don't play clerics" an issue at all.
Mar 12, 2019 at 22:34 comment added TigerDM Haha, perhaps this would be a better one for chat. One is playing an oracle and is attempting to be the “healer” but she’s not really finding it that satisfying. Druids yes. Inquisitor not yet actually...I’ll suggest it too.
Mar 12, 2019 at 22:15 comment added YogoZuno Kind of hard to know what to suggest if even you don't know why...have they played Oracles and Inquisitors? Those often have similar roles. How were those handled? What about Druids?

Mar 12, 2019 at 16:55 comment added TigerDM I’m not sure, but I suspect hat is a main reason. I think roleplaying piety is daunting, and unappealing.
Mar 12, 2019 at 15:52 comment added BloodySprinkles To Clarify, so I can better answer the question: Your players don’t want to be a Cleric solely for the reason of dealing with a Deity or you feel that’s just one of or the Main reason in a multitude of factors?
Mar 12, 2019 at 14:44 comment added TigerDM You know, it varies for everything except religion...they just don’t seem to know how to or aren’t willing to try to role play with it as a central theme for their character. We had a paladin once and the player seemed annoyed and surprised all the time at being reminded of his fealty to a god.
Mar 12, 2019 at 13:55 comment added Erik Do your players commonly play other characters that have sworn fealty to another, or do they prefer characters who aren't tied down by any authorities overseeing their behavior?
