Even if you kill it, RAW, it's going to go to the afterlife when you end your next long rest (it's a more specific rule than the Spectre in general). The flavor text for the Spectre monster doesn't apply: That sentence is tied to the whole "doomed to the Material Plane" bit, and Hexblade created Spectres aren't doomed to the material plane in the first place, and explicitly can go to the afterlife. | |
