Aug 9, 2021 at 18:07 | comment | added | Darth Pseudonym | The Loading quality represents the time and effort necessary to reset the weapon and make it ready to fire: cranking the crossbow string back, muzzle-loading the pistol, whatever. Repeating Shot removes that quality, so yes, presumably it magically does all the things necessary to bring the weapon from "fired" to "ready to fire". JC's answer clarifies the other half of the situation, the Ammunition quality requiring a free hand to reload with. Since you don't need to place an arrow into the hand crossbow, you don't need a free hand. So yes, the weapon is point-and-shoot. | |
Aug 9, 2021 at 14:54 | comment | added | Jhyarelle Silver | Still kind of confused....Bows and cross-bows require you pull/draw the string in order to fire the ammo; with exception of some firearms like a revolver you'd still have to "cock" (pull the hammer to set the gunpowder off) it. Are you stating repeating shot infusion literally make ammunition based ranged weapons fire automatically, just point and shoot? | |
