Apr 30, 2020 at 22:13 comment added A C Related to D&D gods, specifically in a "spelljammer sort of cosmology" : MrRhexx video "Why do Gods Fear Space in Dungeons and Dragons" . There are a few other good "god ecology" videos that might be useful source material; I can't actually watch it right now to confirm that it's the one I'm thinking of, but perhaps this from AJ Pickett

Apr 30, 2020 at 13:44 comment added Tim Grant If one of the tags is better removed, you can (and should) do that now. This site favors editing questions and answers for clarity. And we want questions to "stand on their own" without the need to read comments. Comments are considered temporary.

Apr 29, 2020 at 6:04 comment added Ryan Bailey yes, sorry. My campaign is going to be run using the 5th edition rules on my homebrew world, which exists in a crystal sphere amongst countless others similar to the spelljammer setting. I was unsure of how the gods would have been able to create the world within the crystal sphere without the strength they gain from their followers. Or how they could exist without them in the first place. I probably shouldn't have used both tags, sorry about that.

Apr 29, 2020 at 5:40 comment added indigochild Welcome to the site! Enjoy the +1 for a fun question. I see you've used the tags for both 5e and Spelljammer, but there is no official 5e spelljammer setting. Can you clarify which you want an answer based in?
