May 24, 2020 at 15:34 comment added Blake Steel @Szega minor things about the weapon like the change from CON based DC to INT based, as well as an additional use (3 effective uses instead of 2).

May 22, 2020 at 15:33 comment added DM_with_secrets Just as a note, the dragonborn breath weapon is actually a once per short rest ability :)
May 22, 2020 at 14:56 comment added Szega What do you mean exactly by "enchanted"? The ability you say the weapon already holds seems to be nearly identical to what you describe later. What would change exactly?

May 22, 2020 at 14:18 comment added enkryptor "is the weapon balanced" is not answerable without any criteria. Magic items are unique and often overpowered by design. I suggest to be more specific, for instance, ask "what should be the rarity of this homebrew magic weapon".

May 22, 2020 at 14:14 comment added NotArch Can you also provide us with what level the player(s) are at, what other magic items you've given out, and what you are looking for regarding 'balance'. What defines balanced for you? How common are magical items in your world?
May 22, 2020 at 14:13 comment added NotArch You've got a neat idea started, but please take a look at our meta on how to ask a good homebrew review question. You should also take the tour to learn more about how we operate and can visit the help center for more information.
