(Typical salt packet .75g x20 = ~15g. A handful of salt is about 100-150g so if you took the salt from 6 adventures's who each had a months worth of rations it might be enough. Of course, you aren't going to manage that in a single aciton.) | |

If I Google for D&D Giant Slug it tells me: "A handful of salt burns a giant slug as if it were a flask of acid, causing 1d6 points of damage per use." | |
