Feb 12, 2015 at 5:49 | comment | added | gatherer818 | It's a house-rule, but I typically allow non-combat creatures to climb in a pocket or backpack or else flee to the bushes/trees/whatever while everyone else is rolling initiative, unless the player says he wants it involved in the fight. Once he does that, of course, it's as expendable as any other piece of nonmagical gear, and it doesn't have hardness and is much more likely to get targeted/splashed on than carried gear.... | |
