Apr 25, 2017 at 19:31 comment added ShadowKras For the troll skeleton, there is no error, as Rend is listed as special attacks on the troll's statblock, thus it is removed when the template is applied.
Apr 25, 2017 at 19:31 comment added ShadowKras This means that, unless an exception is made, the creature will lose Rend. For the multiplying t-rex, an exception is made saying that the creature has powerful bite, it didnt inherit from the base creature as the template removes it.
Apr 25, 2017 at 19:27 comment added ShadowKras I did not check the HD, you are correct. The Str and dex also matches the regular Troll. However, i just checked that all special attacks are lost by the template, which includes rend and pounce (my previous affirmation was incorrect): Special Attacks: A skeleton retains none of the base creature’s special attacks.
Apr 25, 2017 at 19:18 comment added annoying imp @ShadowKras Also, to refer moss troll. It has different HD and other stats, as well as different name (it then should be Skeleton, Moss Troll) so I can't see why you say Moss Troll is a base creature for Skeleton, Troll.
Apr 25, 2017 at 19:14 comment added annoying imp @ShadowKras Well, I can't say anything about books. But my other points stand, even if a link theoretically may be a mistake.
Apr 25, 2017 at 19:05 comment added annoying imp @ShadowKras How exactly must it mention a template applied? It has all and every feature template gives, and it's stats are exactly as if skeleton template would've been applied to tyrannosaurus. It also is listed in PFSRD among other creatures with said template, even a link to the template is given above smaller "parts'" stats calculations.
