Apr 13, 2020 at 12:27 comment added Dave Driver Sorry, I hadn't meant to imply that you needed to buy it. I'll update my answer. I'm just quite aware that the two have a lot of idiosyncrasies that make distinguishing which is being talked about important. And if you don't GM then no, I wouldn't expect you to have to buy every book.
Apr 13, 2020 at 11:24 comment added Zeiss Ikon Fruitless argument -- I don't think I should have to continually spend more and more money when I don't GM, you seem to think I have Pockets of Holding, well stocked with coin, and can just buy everything related to games I play when it first comes out.
Apr 13, 2020 at 8:16 comment added Dave Driver No more than any other edition change. Dungeon Fantasy and DFRPG are different products, so I answered for the one in your question. Though I should have realised from your comment on Q&D enchantment, since enchanting has never been part of Dungeon Fantasy, and isn't included in the DFRPG.
Apr 12, 2020 at 20:21 comment added Zeiss Ikon "so you should always spend another $80 to have the latest book that makes tiny amendments to the ones you already spent $60 on." There, fixed that for you.
