Talislanta is a fantasy RPG written by Stephen Michael Sechi. It was initially published by Bard Games in 1987. Over the years, five different editions have been published by several different companies. In 2010, Sechi made all existing materials for Talislanta, from first to fifth edition, freely available on the Talislanta website under the Creative Commons license.

Over the years, five different editions have been published by several different companies:
- Bard Games published the first edition in 1987 and a revised second edition in 1989.
- Wizards of the Coast picked up the license to Talislanta and published the third edition in 1992.
- Pharos Press announced they would create a special 10th anniversary edition of the game in time for 1997, but the release was delayed and eventually released as a small run of ashcan copies.
- Shooting Iron published a proper fourth edition in 2001.
- In 2004, Morrigan Press acquired the Talislanta license and published a number of books for the game. In 2006, Morrigan announced the upcoming release of Talislanta Fifth Edition, and the first few volumes of the multi-book game saw release in early 2007. The final core book of the fifth edition was released in August 2007
In 2010, Sechi (who maintained creative control through all editions) made all existing materials for Talislanta, from first to fifth edition, freely available on the Talislanta website under the Creative Commons license.
