How do Feats work?

From what I understand from the Dead Winter RPG Rules Guide, all characters receive, a Racial Feat at every even-numbered level, and a Racialnormal Feat, and at every odd numbered-numbered level, a normal Feat. What's the difference between those feats? Can I pick a Racial instead a normal featFeat, or a normal featFeat instead of a racial one?

Humans, Fae and a few other races get an extra featFeat at the first level. ThisMust this feat must be a normal one, or it can be a racial one?

Also, what are Class Feats? Can I can select one of them instead of a Racial, or shoulddo I select them in place of a Normal FeatFeats?
